Para PachaMama ~ Spirit of Earth is a small, heart-led website. This page explains, in plain words, what it gathers and why. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Who we are
Our website address is https://parapachamama.net. You can reach us through the Contact page.
Letters, reflections and sharings
When you write a Letter to Mother Earth, a Reflection from the Watery Mirror, a Full Moon Sharing or a message through Contact, your words reach the site’s own inbox and rest in the site’s form records. No email address is asked of you for letters, reflections and sharings, and nothing is sent back to you. The Contact form asks for your email only so we can answer you.
When you choose to share your writing, it appears on the website at once, signed with the name you give or as a Trustee for Planet Earth. Writing you keep private stays in the site’s records only. Our forms store no IP address and are checked for spam by Akismet.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, and Jetpack Stats to count visits and see which pages people find helpful. These set cookies in your browser and receive your IP address and browser details. We read the numbers only in summary, never to identify you. You can decline these cookies with your browser settings or a tracker blocker.
A short notice at the foot of the site lets you know about these cookies. Choosing OK hides the notice and stores that choice in your browser.
Language translation
The language picker uses Google Translate through GTranslate. When you choose a language, or when your browser asks for one, the page text is sent to Google to be translated and a small cookie remembers your choice.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages here may include embedded videos, audio and images from other websites. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited that website, and those websites may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with that content.
Who we share your data with
We never sell or lend your details. They are held only by the services named on this page, which help us run the website: WordPress.com hosting, Google, Fluent Forms and Akismet spam protection.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask for a copy of anything you sent us, or ask us to correct it, take a shared piece down, or erase it, through the Contact page. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
