A School of Remembering in Syntropy, Self Souvereignty and Self Love · born in Bali, November 2018
The Wānanga of Love is a School of Remembering in Syntropy, Self Souvereignty and Self Love, called back into the world by the Grandmothers of Waitaha and carried forward by Souvereign and a small Ground Crew as the living continuation of Para PachaMama ~ Spirit of Earth, its first whispers going out through the Global Community Network early in 2018, four years after the Waitaha Water Gathering opened the way.
The Wananga of Love is a School of Remembering, resounding the intrinsic, natural, ancient knowings around the human culture of love and peace that we naturally are in and of ourselves, once the fear-based programming of our upbringing is set aside.

The calling of the grandmothers
The Waitaha grandmothers asked Souvereign to bring the Wānanga of Love back to the forefront, and he received the request first as his own training, a homecoming to himself that asked him to meet the fear held in his own old trauma before he could step into the waka and carry the Wānanga further, trusting the many forms of support that life offers to anyone who walks such a path.
Our small initiating team has been hearing the calling for the Wananga of Love to be shared again. We took up our response for this current chapter early in 2018, when the first whispers for this calling went out through Para Pachamama’s Global Community Network. The response was small, and our steps have been such since.
Aroha, love, is what a culture is destined to return to, and the only place this can be done in any living human being is within.

A Lotus Birth in an ancient temple
Bali, where the Balinese people keep the balance of the world, was named in the early days of the Wānanga as the place between worlds, and from Ubud the Ground Crew followed the natural rhythm of conceiving, gestating and birthing through many months of relating, listening and sharing, until in November 2018 they gathered in one of the oldest temples of Bali for a Lotus Birth Ceremony that softly welcomed into the world of Light all the patterns that are part of the Wānanga’s work on Earth, giving thanks to Life, to the Ancestors and above all to the Grandmothers of Waitaha.
During that ceremony the dreaming mindsong, codes and patterns of the Wānanga were imbued into a mother Lemurian Seedquartz crystal, and from her the Dreamseeds were carried into other crystals of the Kingdom, which travelled all over the region and opened the way for many crystal ceremonies in sacred, relevant and powerful places.
Syntropy, Souvereignty and Self Love
The Wānanga holds its teaching in three kete, the three baskets of knowledge, which it names as the Schools of Syntropy, Self Souvereignty and Self Love, each one weaving into the others so that a person can find their own place again in the Natural Order and in the patterns of the universe that the Waitaha ancestors kept alive for their mokopuna.
Love is the way Home Will is the way there and Home is your Nature and all of Nature is based on Syntropy.
Syntropy is the pattern of the universe, acknowledged in the naming by hardly anyone outside of what’s called Syntropic Agroforestry, and to my knowing, not yet applied into our human ecosystems of mind, body, soul and spirit, except through Waitaha’s teachings. Our Waitaha Grandelders encourage the mokopuna to study the greater patterns of the universe, so to know the ways of peace and love in the living.
Syntropy, through the study of Syntropic Agroforestry, has been the missing link that allowed me to come undone from decades of believing and thinking, instead of simply feeling, and thus knowing my sense-felt yay or nay.

Through these three Schools the Wānanga of Love is here to:
- help you remember the patterns in how everything in Life is performing a function with purpose, for Life, and how to make use of its purposeful function for your own growth and self liberation
- help you remember how to navigate in Syntropy with Life through Feeling Based Relating and Conscious Co-Living
- support you in reclaiming your Self Souvereignty by explaining the source code of human suffering (trauma) and offering you insight into the true functionings of your emotional re-actions
- expose how (unconscious) programs in the English Language inhibit the natural functioning of your Divine Human Will and Freedom
- explain how committing to practicing Radical Self Love and Willingness is essential to be able to reintegrate (hidden) disassociated and dis-membered aspects of yourself
Casting the net
The Wānanga speaks of its work as Te Kupenga, the net, cast wide so that every soul called into this circle can find a strand to hold, and it carries the words of a Waitaha grandmother as its signpost in time: “It is now the time of Tumatawerra,” spoken by Grandmother Ivy Elizabeth McAnergney, nee Baird, of the family of Ngati Rakai and Ngati Pakau, in Whispers of Waitaha.
We pray that we may all remember to cultivate all our Gardens, inner and outer, in Syntropy with Life and start dreaming of our shared future in ways so undeniably real that these dreams become memories of the future.
The Wānanga of Love Ground Crew
From Bali to Vanuatu and onward to Aotearoa
The Wānanga always knew it would need physical meeting places where people could freely gather for the real work, and its path led from Ubud to Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu, where the first meeting house of the Wānanga took form at East of Eden, a Living Ark and New Earth Sanctuary where Syntropic Agroforestry took root in the valley soil, while the longer dreaming holds that the Matua Wānanga o Aroha will one day be given land and a home in Aotearoa, New Zealand, where all that is set in motion now will be handed to those of name, family and star origin who carry the Return of the Wānanga of Love into its fullness.
