From the Para PachaMama archive, 2010 to 2012.
Para PachaMama ~ Spirit of Earth stood with the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth, presented at the World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth in Cochabamba, Bolivia, from 19 to 22 April 2010, a declaration that recognised Mother Earth as a living being with rights of her own. In the same spirit we hosted and collaborated with Polly Higgins during her tour through Australasia, bringing her lectures and workshops on Earth law to the wider Cairns region through the social enterprise RealFood Network.
