Seeds of Syntropy

After years of gatherings, ceremonies, tunings and callings, a quieter teacher came into the story of Para PachaMama, and it came through the soil. In the forest gardens of Syntropic Agroforestry, where plants are placed in the order Nature herself would grow them, each one performing a function with purpose for the whole, Souvereign met a word for the pattern the elders had been pointing to all along: Syntropy, the tendency of life to gather, organise and grow toward more life.

Syntropy, through the study of Syntropic Agroforestry, has been the missing link that allowed me to come undone from decades of believing and thinking, instead of simply feeling, and thus knowing my sense-felt yay or nay.

Souvereign

The comprehension of humandamage had shown how much of our lives runs on fantasies practised as reality, and Syntropy showed the other side of the coin, the living order that remains when those fantasies are set down, the same order that grows a forest from bare ground, layer upon layer, each pioneer preparing the way for what comes after it, nothing wasted and everything in relationship.

Seen this way, every Full Moon Tuning, every water ceremony and every gathering of elders had been a planting, and the New Earth so many of us dreamed of in 2012 was never going to arrive in a single wave, it was always going to grow, the way a Syntropic garden grows, in succession, season after season, from the seeds we tend in the soil and in ourselves.

What remains is to bring that pattern home into the human ecosystem of mind, body, soul and spirit, and that is the work the coming years would carry.

Syntropy became one of the three kete of the Wānanga of Love, and took root in the land at East of Eden.
